  • Bikeability

    Wed 05 Oct 2022

Our oldest pupils have been taking part in their ‘bikeability’ course this week. They take part in Level 1 and Level 2 cycle training. This means they have developed skills for cycling on single-lane roads with simple junctions and moderate traffic. There is also a focus for safe and responsible cycling. This is a two day course starting with a morning of practising skills on the playground before heading out onto the road for the rest of the time.

This is an important life skill especially for children who will be starting to cycle to school when they move to high school.
