We hope you enjoy seeing the latest events and news happening in our school.
After a two year break, the tradition of an ice cream van coming to school returned! There was much excitement, especially from Tigers Class! Everyone enjoyed their tasty ice creams from the vintage 1960s van.
Day four at Bawdsey Manor, began with Jacob’s Ladder. These involved the children working in teams to climb as high as they could. The children worked together really well and some overcame their fear of heights. The Sensory Trail followed this, which involved being blindfolded and moving through an assault course as a team. After another tasty lunch we took part in the Photo Challenge. Our final day time activity was Fencing.
In the evening we played Snap Shot, which involved using maps and a picture clue to find a specific site on the grounds and then answer some questions about it.
Our third day at Bawdsey Manor started with Buggy Building, this was considerably more successful than our raft building. We then had the chance to try Abseiling before lunch. The afternoon we had the Giant Swing followed by Wacky Races.
The day finished with several games of Capture the Flag. Another fun filled day, resulting in lots of tired children!
We’ve had another fantastic day! We started off with raft building. We learnt a lot but did struggle to build rafts that could float for more than five minutes but the children all had fun getting wet! We then had a go at archery, orienteering and then a sports afternoon. This evening’s entertainment was a quiz.
We started our first day at PGL Bawdsey with some football, rounders, a picnic and some fun on the beach. We then met our groupie Sarah and enjoyed a tasty dinner followed by songs around the campfire and of course some toasted marshmallows.
Our Year 5 and 6 pupils missed out on the Stone Age Experience due to the COVID-19 school closures. We were delighted to give them the opportunity to take part in this missed opportunity.
Year 3 and 4 had an amazing day with Memma and Twig from Memma The Cavewoman experiences. Here are a few snapshots from the day. Keep an eye out for more photos, which will follow soon.
