At school, we want everyone to feel safe, happy, and ready to learn. But sometimes, things can feel tough.
In the Bible, Jesus often told stories called parables to help people understand how God wants us to live. One of the most famous is the story of The Good Samaritan. It is about helping others – even when they are different from us – and being a good neighbour.
Just like the Good Samaritan, our Pupil Wellbeing Ambassadors are here to look out for others – to be a friend to anyone who might feel left out, hurt, or sad.
Our Pupil Wellbeing Ambassadors are children who have been specially chosen because they are kind, good listeners, and care about helping others.
If any child feels upset, worried, or just needs a friend, our Ambassadors are here to help. They do not replace teachers or grown-ups – but they are someone to talk to or ask for help from.
The Wellbeing Ambassador pledge
I will try to be kind to others and to myself.
If I see someone feeling sad, I will be a friend.
If I need help, I will speak to someone I trust.
Together, we can make our school a happy place
Our prayer
Dear God,
Thank you for our school and for all the people who help us feel safe and happy.
Thank you for our new Wellbeing Ambassadors.
Please help them to be kind, thoughtful, and good listeners.
Help us all to care for one another,
To be good friends,
And to remember that asking for help is always okay.
May we follow your example of love and kindness every day.
Amen
