Writing
We use a text based curriculum to encourage reading and writing skills to develop, as well as using programmes Literacy shed and Spelling shed to provide a range of stimuli.
Spelling
Once children progress through Little Wandle Letters and Sounds, we use Spelling shed to teach regular sessions to children in KS2.
Handwriting
At Nacton, we are very proud of our pupil’s handwriting and take particular care in our handwriting style. We use Letter-join’s on-line handwriting resource and Lesson Planners as the basis of our handwriting policy as it covers all the requirements of the National Curriculum.
