Building Learning Power
Building Learning Power (BLP) is an approach to learning that we have begun to implement at Nacton C of E Primary School. This approach was created by Professor Guy Claxton. It is based on the idea that we are all capable of becoming better learners.
BLP schools allow children to train and develop their learning muscles, enabling them to become:
- More curious;
- More willing to take a risk in their learning;
- More creative;
- More thoughtful;
- More ready, willing and able to learn with and through others.
