Our school councillors represented the school at the village’s Commonwealth Day celebration. They all had a go at raising the flag and also read poems to the local residents who braved the weather. We even enjoyed some tea and cake afterwards!
Can you guess who these characters are?
The children (and parents!) put a lot of effort into their costumes for World Book Day. Our theme this year was characters from books written by Roald Dahl, Julia Donaldson, Jacqueline Wilson and David Walliams. The school is full of Gangsta Grannies, witches and Willy Wonkas!
Due to the adverse weather conditions World Book Day will now take place on Monday 5th March 2018. We can’t wait to see the children dressed up in their costumes.
Due to the adverse weather and travelling conditions the school will remain closed today. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, but the safety of the pupils, parents and staff is paramount.
