Cycling and seaside fun
The last week before half term saw Year 6 complete the Bikeability programme. They learnt all about how to be safe on their bikes and enjoyed a cycle ride around the village.
Also that week the Lions enjoyed a visit to the seaside. They enjoyed a walk along the promenade, a paddle in the sea and sandcastle building. The best part of the day for most children was the ice lolly at the end. They also dug holes, made beach art and looked at the key features of a seaside location. Some of the children even buried each other in the sand! A big thank you to all the adults that accompanied us and made the day such a success.
